A bit of Inspiration...

Make a friend’s day

Nothing beats a good old chinwag, so call your friend for a long girly chat about work, relationships or going out.

Pay your friend lots of compliments, tell her how fabulous she looks in that new dress, or how much her skin glows.

If your friend’s a busy mum, offer to take her kids off to the park for a couple of hours so she can have some time to herself.

Cooking can be a real chore if you work, so offer to cook your friend a meal, or better still, meet her for her lunch or buy her dinner.

Call round after work or when her children are in bed, crack open a bottle of wine and put the world to rights.

It’s proven that a good laugh boosts the immune system, so have a DVD night of funny movies and have a good old giggle.

Buy her some chick lit by laugh-out-loud authors such as Marian Keyes, Jane Green or Helen Fielding.

Everyone loves a bit of pampering, so why not arrange a day at a health spa and book your friend a massage or a facial as a special treat.

Take up a new hobby together. It could be something as simple as going for regular runs, salsa classes or even something a bit more adventurous such as kick-boxing, climbing or horse riding.

Arrange a whole day shopping for new underwear and outfits and take time out for lunch.
